ConnectChildcare™ prepares to enter Irish Market

On Tuesday 1^st of March 2011 The Connect Technology Group and ICT Assist signed an exclusive distributor agreement to allow ICT Assist to supply the full suite of products developed and sold by The Connect Technology Group. This agreement will cover the Island of Ireland and includes the award winning nursery and childcare management software application ConnectChildcare™.

ConnectChildcare™ is an SQL based management software package delivered over the internet or installed on existing PC hardware.  The software is in use in over 400 sites to date and covers all the aspects of running a busy childcare setting.

“I was astonished at how little technology was available off the shelf to help Childcare Operators in Ireland. Whether the Childcare Operator is a Private, Community or Voluntary organisation using the latest ICT can help them to improve their frontline levels of Quality Childcare.” says Malcolm Doyle of ICT Assist. “From today we will be known as Connect Childcare with our focus being solely on the Childcare Industry in Ireland.”

“While it is true that the ConnectChildcare™ application is developed in the UK for the UK Market, it is currently being customised with the help of Irish operators to suit the Irish market. ConnectChildcare™ 5.0 is being launched in Q3 of 2011, with 2 version’s one for the UK Market and one for Ireland.” explains Malcolm.
